We’re Here to Save Sharks

I founded Logan Saves Sharks because I think we can all work together to save them.

Once I started learning about how sharks were dying, I did everything I could to educate myself and tell the people around me.

In early 2019, I created a presentation for my family about sharks and why we need to save them. I drew a “save the sharks” poster — you can see the logo on the T-shirts for sale — and created a signup sheet for all the things I needed help with. (I’m still only 8.) I decided that I wanted to sell T-shirts and reusable grocery bags and donate the profits to a conservation organization.

I settled on Shark Angels because they think kids like me can help save our oceans!

Here’s How You Can Help

You don’t need to be a kid to help. If you are a kid, now is a good time to talk to your parents about how you want to donate. My friends and I set up this site so your parents will see how important sharks are, too.

Buy Logan Saves Sharks Gear

We have really awesome T-shirts, sweatshirts, blankets, and grocery bags for sale. The clothes are soft and comfy and the grocery bag can store a lot of stuff. 100 percent of the proceeds go to Shark Angels!.

Donate to Shark Angels

You don’t have to buy my gear to support Shark Angels! You can donate directly to them, if you want.

Clean the Beach

Keeping beaches clean will help trash stay out of the ocean. Tell your family you want to have a beach clean-up day. If you don’t live near the ocean (I don’t), make sure your trash is recycled or put in the right place.

Don’t Buy Shark Parts

You know those shark-tooth necklaces that look cool? They’re not. Don’t support companies that sell shark parts, like fins and teeth. They most likely came from sharks that were killed just to make jewelry or soup.

Have a Fin-Raiser!

Get it? It’s a fundraiser for sharks! You can have a bake sale or donate your birthday party to sharks.

Tell Everyone You Know

Your voice is important! Tell everyone you know about how cool sharks are and why they need protection. Know your facts. If you hear someone saying things that aren’t true about sharks, let them know.

Learn About Shark Angels

I spent a lot of time researching conservation organizations before I decided to support Shark Angels. They do a lot of really good work, like helping people support the Shark Fin Elimination Act. You can also adopt a shark, too! Read more about them on their website or donate now.
